“Hobby with a bad Habit/Secret” Chapter 5

500 Foreigners arrived to a foreign country from 5 different English speaking countries all wanting to be English Teachers all arrived together on different planes but divided up by countries. He learned pretty soon the people all on the plane were all doing the same thing as he was. Most were young kids fresh out of college or soon to be. Yet again he found himself too old around a bunch of kids.

They all arrived at 5 am local time to their country and were herded like cattle onto buses and shipped to empty university to receive a month of teacher training. It was a grueling month long course but made many lifelong friends however he found a way to drink in secret even when it was not aloud in the campus.

After training he felt lucky for his new best friend in training was stationed in the same city as him and also just a few houses down the street from him. This friend and him became drinking buddies even gaming buddies. Being away from home was lonely but he had friends and the internet to talk to family back home. Still drank by himself at night though. Even though these were good times he still liked to drink and get drunk alone.

Eventually they both found girlfriends and he would actually marry the girl he met. He never changed even after that. Still drank and got drunk once or twice a week alone.

By the end of his year contract came the decision to sign on another year or leave. He really loved his girlfriend so he decided to stay but his best friend went back to his home country. It was a sad time but at least he had his girl.
