Hobby with a Bad Habit/Secert: Chapter 2

The Young Man years in Gaming

Like mostly everyone going through middle school and high school, it was a weird time. He found himself alone even more. He had friends even some of them still friends to this day. But he was never part of the popular crowds in school. He was never invited to the parties or activities like many others going through those school years. His friends were like him as well part of the non hip crowd.

Now you may tell yourself that this is the same old story, but it’s not really that close. Because this dorky young nerdy man was about to forget his passion in gaming and nearly lose himself to try and be cool.

His friends before trying not to be nerdy had sparked his interest into even more kind of games like Dungeon and Dragons, Magic the Gathering and all the fun and cool stuff he loved but found out it was nerdy to mostly everyone around at the time. However as puberty set in on the lonely guy he thought he would look cooler if he tried drugs and alcohol.

But came the problem of that he wasn’t cool and only the cool kids got the drugs and drinks. For him he wasn’t cool on the outside looking in at them partying and having sex and all the fun stuff he wished he could be in. He tried to ask if he could go out more but his parents preferred him to stay home safe at home. So much he ask to be able to go out and try to be cool, that his mother bought him a six pack of beer to let him have for himself. It was the first time he got drunk was all alone in his room and his video games.

This was just the beginning of a deeper darker problem that would grow and grow.

By his senior year he finally got recognized by some of the cool people at school. A bully who had been bullying him and his Role playing friend for a long time, pushed him enough to make him stand up for himself and his friend. And stand up he did. He fought back hard catching the bully off guard and knocking him down to where he threw him around like a sack of potatoes and punched him in the face every toss to the ground. It actually was right in the middle of class! While the teacher was sitting grading papers not caring what was going on. Until he noticed the bully flying around and desks and tables falling around and students yelling and cheering. He didn’t even see the teacher that came flying in and tackled him to the ground to stop him from beating up the bully. Him and the bully got arrested for disrupting the class and had to go to court and were served penalties and community service.

After that he finally got invited to parties and new friends that didn’t play the nerdy games but they did play video games. He started smoking cigarettes and smoking weed. He began to move away from his favorite hobby and forget about it. Even forgot about his old friends.

With this new experiences came more drugs and parties and even the fun of playing games all night while on acid or other hard drugs.

This opened the door for even a deeper and darker hole…
